1950ರಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಹರಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಾಲೂರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ದಿಕ್ಕು ತೋರಿದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನೇಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇಂದು ದೇಶ-ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್‌ಗಳು, ಸಂಶೋಧಕರು, ಸೇನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಆಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆದರೆ, ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಜಮೀನಿನ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗದ ಕುರಿತು ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ವಿವಾದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ಇದೀಗ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಜಮೀನಿನ ವಿವಾದವಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ. ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಶಾಲಾ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಲೂರಿನ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿ, ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

“ನಮಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ.
ನಮ್ಮ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೂ ಉಳಿಸೋಣ.”

ಶಾಲಾ ಜಮೀನು ಉಳಿಸೋಣ — ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡೋಣ.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಂದು ಸಹಿ ಕೇವಲ ಸಹಿಯಲ್ಲ — ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಧ್ವನಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಂದು ಸಹಿ ಈ ಅರ್ಜಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲ, ಮೌಲ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡಬಹುದು.”

Malur Government Pre-University College, which has been spreading the light of education since 1950, is a historic educational institution that has guided the lives of thousands of students. Many students who studied at this school are today serving as doctors, engineers, researchers, military officers, entrepreneurs, and distinguished professionals in various fields, both in India and abroad.

However, a dispute has been ongoing for several years concerning a portion of the land belonging to the school, and the matter has now reached the stage of a legal battle before the Supreme Court.

This is not merely a dispute over a piece of land. It is a question about the future of our school. If we remain silent today, future generations of students may lose the school infrastructure and space necessary to provide them with a good education.

Therefore, all former students, teachers, parents, and citizens of Malur must come together and pursue this cause in a lawful and peaceful manner.
