Tanya Franklin

Tanya Franklin is an accomplished education professional and advocate with a diverse background in law and education. She holds a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master's in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Columbia University. Franklin has dedicated her career to improving educational outcomes and supporting educational equity. She has served as a board member for District 7 at the Los Angeles Unified School District and has worked as a literacy specialist with Teach For America. Her experience includes roles as a teacher and teacher development specialist at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, and she was an Education Law Public Service Fellow at Mental Health Advocacy Services. Currently, she is the Senior Director at the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools.
