Armendariz has served as a Councilmember for the City of Gilroy, where she has been actively involved in shaping local policies. Her role as Director of Movement Building at Working Partnerships USA highlights her commitment to advocating for social justice and community empowerment. She has also worked as a Community Political Organizer for SEIU-USWW and as a Business Representative for Operating Engineers Local 3. Additionally, she is a founding member and president of CARAS and has contributed to initiatives such as Gilroy Growing Smarter.
