Michael Hunter, Jr. is an accomplished American professional boxer known for his achievements in the ring, including challenging for the WBO junior heavyweight title in 2017. As an amateur, he secured the National Championships as a super heavyweight in both 2007 and 2009 and represented the United States in the 2012 Olympics in the heavyweight division. Born to late professional boxer Mike "the Bounty" Hunter, Michael has also pursued academic excellence, earning a Bachelor's degree in Management & Marketing from Trinity University and an MBA from Texas A&M University. In his professional life outside of boxing, he has worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, a Broker at Carlisle Insurance, and an Account Executive at Borden Insurance. Additionally, he has served as a Councilmember-At-Large on the Corpus Christi City Council.
