John Blanton is a dedicated public servant and community leader with a diverse background in law enforcement and religious service. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Morehead State University, which laid the foundation for his career in public safety and community involvement. Blanton has served as a State Trooper and later as a Major with the Kentucky State Police, showcasing his commitment to maintaining law and order. He also served as a Chaplain for the Kentucky State Police, providing spiritual support to officers. In addition to his law enforcement career, Blanton has been a Pastor at Rockhouse United Baptist Church and the Paint Union Association of United Baptist Churches. Currently, he represents District 92 in the Kentucky House of Representatives, where he continues to serve his community with dedication.
