Frank-Walter Steinmeier

Frank-Walter Steinmeier is a German politician serving as the twelfth President of Germany since March 2017. Prior to his presidency, Steinmeier was a key figure in German politics, holding various high-level positions including serving as Vice Chancellor and Foreign Minister under Angela Merkel's Chancellorship. Known for his pragmatism and diplomatic skills, Steinmeier is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). Before embarking on his political career, he was a lawyer and an administrative law professor, adding to his extensive background in politics and law.
