Erica Gilmore is an accomplished educator and public servant with a strong academic and professional background. She holds a Master's degree in English from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Howard University. Gilmore has dedicated much of her career to education and public service, having served as a public school teacher and as a councilwoman for the city of Nashville. In higher education, she has been a professor at the University of Phoenix, an administrator and instructor at Strayer University, an adjunct professor at Fisk University, and the Assistant Dean of Student Services at Tennessee State University. Her commitment to community engagement is further demonstrated by her role as a trustee for Davidson County, highlighting her dedication to public service and education.
