Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations

The Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF) is an international non-profit organization comprising seven international sports federations responsible for administering the sports that adhere to the rules and regulations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). These individual federations govern the various sports at the Winter Olympics including skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, curling, luge, skating, and bobsleigh. They not only play a crucial role in developing, promoting, and ensuring the integrity of their respective sports globally but also shoulder the responsibility of selecting the athletes and officials to represent each sport at the Winter Olympic Games. The AIOWF ensures that each of its member federations adheres to the principles of the Olympic Charter and maintains top-level international competition standards.
