Everyone I know who has played Star Wars Galactic Battle Grounds wants an updated version. Steam and other places show this is desired by the community through various scattered posts, comments, and reviews. 

With the release of Star Wars Squadrons (regardless of whether you thought it was good/given the full amount of attention or not) we know that someone is listening to the nostalgia of the audience. As squadrons obviously rose from the ashes of the old X-wing and Tie-Fighter games, so should it be with Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds but better than squadrons... hopefully). It's time for Galactic Battle Grounds to come back... Remastered and with multiplayer/LAN abilities so that a new generation can enjoy it!!!

PS- Clarification: I am not hating on Squadrons. I love the game to a great degree and appreciate it very much. The issues I had were that it seemed rushed with poor lip-syncing at times, not as graphically detailed as it could be, and a short campaign. Please keep adding more ships, weapons, and game types.
