It’s a sad time in history when teacher’s academic freedom is on the line by the hands of those who aren’t even in the classroom and political partisanship divides our school boards and supersedes our children’s rights to educational equity. 

As an Association we support strategies that call for a reforming of education policies, diversity in leadership, and the preservation of historical accuracy to develop change agents and a well-informed citizenry.
