Crypto miners have brought a decommissioned coal plant in New York back online to "mine" crypto.  They're tormenting innocent locals in Nebraska with noise pollution. They have made life unbearable in Glencoe MN.  The world's largest bitcoin "mine" is being built in Texas, a drought-prone state, and will use millions of gallons of water a day. They are subverting the will of the people with extremely anti-democratic legislation.  The crypto lobby is inundating our elected representatives with lobbying money, warping their views on what WE THE PEOPLE actually want.

The Crypto and Cryptomining Industry Is Extraordinarily Predatory, Deceptive, and Destructive.

The Crypto industry also preys on vulnerable people and populations.  From isolated young men, to seniors, this industry exploits everyone they can for their own personal gain.  It's unfathomable that the United States Government hasn't done more to protect consumers and local communities from this heinous scheme.

We need our government to protect the public from electrical grid instability, noise pollution, air and water pollution, and financial ruin from crypto scams. 

• Crypto "mining" needs to be fully transparent and tightly regulated. Americans are suffering terribly at the hands of these operations.
• Crypto is prone to financial fraud that even strict U.S. regulation cannot prevent, and should NOT be allowed into traditional financial orgs & instruments.
• Pres Biden, Please VETO the repeal of SAB121.
• Senators, please VOTE NO on the FIT21 bill.
• Congress, please VOTE NO on the Lummis/Gillibrand Stablecoin Bill.
• Representatives, please REJECT any legislation that makes a special framework or lends special treatment to the crypto industry. These are financial frauds and should be treated as such under the laws of the FED, SEC, DOJ, FinCEN, and the Treasury.
• Predatory practices of the cryptosphere need to be overseen & /or outlawed.
• Ransomware is a MASSIVE national security issues.  Without crypto, ransomware could not have proliferated & put vital national infrastructure at risk.  We CAN prevent cataclysmic failures by tightening controls & regulations on bitcoin, mixers, and exchanges who facilitate these hackers.
• We should be concerned about foreign countries owning large swaths of American property near sensitive infrastructure and having zero transparency on what EXACTLY they're doing inside those facilities.
• Crypto undermines the US Dollar and its technology is forged from extremist and conspiratorial suspicions of the U.S. banking system. Bitcoin adherents overtly state they want the United States Dollar to FAIL.  This is economically destabilizing anti-American rhetoric that shouldn't be ignored.
• We need to prosecute and SEVERELY PUNISH crypto scammers every time they're caught breaking the law.
