The Issue

Please join the daily #NoPardonForPerry peaceful sit-in protests outside the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles & outside Governor Abbott's office, if you are local.

First, Kyle Rittenhouse got away with murdering two Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin during August 2020 and severely injuring another.

Now, Daniel Perry is on the verge of being pardoned in 2023, roughly a week after being convicted for murdering a BLM protester in Austin, Texas in July 2020.

In America, we have a system of trial by jury, not trial by Governor... and a jury has spoken. Daniel Perry is GUILTY.

AMERICANS HAVE A FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH, PEACEFUL PROTEST AND ASSEMBLY, AS WELL AS TO A REDRESS OF THEIR GRIEVANCES WITH THE GOVERNMENT. But hateful threats will not be tolerated.

Daniel Perry posted a series of racist and threatening messages on social media between 2019 - 2020, some specifically targeting protesters in the wake of the murder of George Floyd.

Daniel Perry is a white nationalist filled with rage and fueled by hate.

In 2019, Perry wrote that it was "too bad we can't get paid for hunting Muslims in Europe."

In May 2020, Perry sent a text that said, "I might go to Dallas to shoot looters."

Also in May 2020, Perry posted a Facebook message to a friend stating that he "might have to kill a few people" who were "rioting" outside his apartment.

On May 31, 2020, Daniel Perry posted, "If this symbol represents racism in America (shows Confederate flag), then SO DO THESE (shows NAACP logo, Hispanic Scholarship fund, American Association for Affirmative Action, BET, UNCP, Democratic Party logo, etc...)"

In June 2020, Perry posted on social media about BLM protesters, "It's official. I am a racist because I do not agree with people acting like animals at the zoo."

Also in June 2020, Perry commented on social media comparing the "Black Lives Matter movement to a zoo full of monkeys that are freaking out flinging their sh*t."

On the night of July 25, 2020, Daniel Perry ran a red light and drove directly towards a crowd gathered for a Black Lives Matter protest. Garrett Foster (who is White) was attending the protest with his wife Whitney Mitchell (who is Black), and was carrying a rifle, as was his legal right in the state of Texas. He did not raise the weapon or point it at anyone. Daniel Perry pointed a gun at Garrett Foster and murdered him in cold blood, in front of his disabled wife, who is a quadruple amputee. Mitchell is now a young, grieving widow.

If Texas Governor Greg Abbott pardons Daniel Perry for murdering Garrett Foster, it is basically giving the middle finger to our justice system, the rule of law, the First Amendment, our nation's Constitution, and the grieving disabled widow of Mr. Foster.

Please SIGN & SHARE this petition across all social media platforms using the hashtag #NoPardonForPerry... and if you live in Texas, please join one of the local peaceful sit-in protests, rallies or marches in support of Garrett Foster's widow Whitney Mitchell.

WE THE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE SILENT WHEN RACIST LUNATIC VIGILANTES ARE MURDERING US IN THE STREETS FOR EXPRESSING OUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS TO FREE SPEECH AND PEACEFUL PROTEST.
