We need to hold the government accountable for being corrupt and sending an innocent man to prison for numerous life sentences even though there was no evidence to convict him just coerced witness testimony. This is not okay! We demand justice for Cyril Smith. Join us in this fight.

Below is Cyril's story in his own words:

I was convicted of a drug conspiracy that they say I was part of from 1998 until 2002. The reason for that time line is they wanted to charge me with murders that was during that time period. They charged me with the drug conspiracy but never showed that I was a part of it. They then changed gears and said that the murders are what got me in the conspiracy. The law says in order for you to further a conspiracy you must first be a part of it. Since I had been arrested and convicted before for other crimes the jury didn’t have a problem with me going back to jail. I never was arrested nor convicted for drugs prior to this charge. I was never a suspect or a person of interest for none of these crimes until the people that co-operated with the government added me in the loop. When they were asked if they ever seen me with drugs they answered no, when they were asked if I ever sold drugs with them or for them they said no therefore the drug conspiracy never took place with me and them. The murders were all seen by different witnesses that all picked someone else out for the murders that do not even come close to looking like me nor have my height or body weight at the time. On one murder the jury found me not guilty of but then found me guilty of the gun which still gave me the same charge of murder. There was a young lady I was in a relationship with that testified about one of the murders (she was forced by the government). On three occasions they made her come to their office was she informed them each time she knew nothing about the crimes. The last time they threatened her with taking her daughter and giving her a gun charge. This is illegal for the government to do but I did not have the information at the time to prove that they did that though. Basically the whole thing is because I would not fold they gave me everything!!
