Key issues in these petitions include calling for universal healthcare for pets, pushing for legislation to regulate veterinary costs, and addressing the lack of affordable options for necessary treatments. I gave my dog simparica trio and less than a month later she died in my arms from a seizure, which she never had before in her life. Another dog i cared for in shelter I worked with was given simparica trio by another person at the shelter and developed seizures and also died despite very extensive medical treatment to help with the seizures. I will never use the Isoxazoline class of drug again!!!! It should be illegal but instead they just slapped a warning on it to reduce liability. My heart is broken and this drug is evil and so are the people pushing it when they know very well the irreversible neurological damage it causes but continue to sell and distribute it. I hold them all responsible and that is why I’m signing, it needs to be removed. Any severe side effects like neurological issues such as seizures leading to death is not worth the risk compared to the “benefits” even if it’s claim is rare, two dogs dying within a month of taking simparica trio when never having a seizure prior doesn’t seem rare to me.
My 10-year-old dog Rocky had his second dose of semperica trio a month after the first those on September 19th and started to lose function slowly from his right leg to all four legs and have no option but to put him down due to his condition related to this medication
My healthy 6 year old border terrier had to be put to sleep after her body was shutting down due to a cluster of seizures cause by Simparica. The seizures left her fully paralyzed, brain dead and took her life. So traumatic and terrible to see your puppy go through so much so suddenly and unexpectedly
I have a 1 yr old frenchie that has taken this drug since he was a puppy. He has developed seizures and now has a seizure daily. Shame on this company. Marketing a drug to help people protect their dogs, which is actually harming them
