As someone who deeply cares about modernizing education in our digital age, I strongly support this petition to update Clinton High School's technology policies and email domain system. Having seen similar issues in schools across the country, I believe addressing these technology restrictions is crucial for student success in today's world. Students everywhere need access to relevant educational resources and tools to stay competitive and prepare for their futures. Overly restrictive technology policies can hinder research capabilities and limit access to valuable learning materials that are essential for modern education. When schools block too many legitimate educational websites and applications, it creates unnecessary barriers to learning and collaboration. The email domain issue is particularly concerning, as it can prevent students from fully participating in educational opportunities. Many academic platforms and programs require school email verification, and outdated or non-standard email domains can create unnecessary complications for students trying to access these resources. While online safety is important, many schools have successfully found ways to protect students while providing appropriate access to digital resources. A balanced approach to technology access has become standard practice in modern education. I encourage Clinton High School's administration to consider: 1. Updating the website filtering system to better align with current educational needs 2. Modernizing the school email domain 3. Implementing technology policies that protect students while supporting their educational goals Thank you for considering these important changes that could significantly improve the educational experience for Clinton High School students.

I have lost connection with people who I consider close over politics and beliefs. I have had enough! We cannot allow institutions and political leaders to divide and conquer. It is time to reinforce the values that all people want - to be heard, to be seen, and to be respected. There is no us and them - society will fall if we allow that - there is only an US!!

Ever since trying "Mexican" Coke for the first time, I knew that it had to be better than the "Classic" Coca-Cola we get here in the United States of Deception. Instead of it being kind of syrupy and overly sweet, the cane sugar version tastes light and crisp, without leaving a residue in the mouth. It's just funny in a very sad way that in order to enjoy the real thing (minus the cocaine of course) as Americans, we have to purchase Coca-Cola that was made in Mexico, which is just about the most unAmerican thing I can think of. And as someone pointed out in another comment, it is odd that as consumers in what is widely considered to be a health-conscious and free market, why is it that real cane sugar Coca-Cola is not sold nor made here? We are the originators, for Pete's sake! We invented it! How can it be that it is not available here? Also, consumers need to be vigilant as to what is in their products. Just recently I learned that there is a really distinct difference between sodas with "real sugar" versus "cane sugar", etc. Mexican Coke has "cane sugar". Pepsi has "real sugar". What's the difference? Mexican Coke contains the real deal cane sugar you would expect. Meanwhile, Pepsi-Cola made with real sugar means that it is most likely made in part with beet sugar. To me, the Pepsi-Cola is gross because it seems to have an aspartame taste to it.

Because of the abuse and emotional turmoil I went through at the hands of this cult, I absolutely see the need for either serious changes to be made or for it to be taken down completely.

Making Election Day a federal holiday in the United States could increase voter turnout by providing citizens with more time to vote without work conflicts. In the 2020 election, 13.1% of registered voters who didn’t vote cited being too busy or having scheduling conflicts as the reason. Additionally, such a holiday would celebrate democracy, turning voting into a nationwide event. This approach aligns with practices in other countries and has significant public support; a Pew Research Center survey found that nearly 80% of Democrats and nearly 70% of Republicans favor making Election Day a federal holiday.

Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
