County, State, HPD should be ashamed of this kind of predatory behavior. There is basically no due process in the local “courts”, making this a full-on racket.
Stop butchering our constitutional right to be free of unreasonable seizures & searches. Stop shaking down law abiding citizens. Stop being stormtroopers, and get in touch with your community. We’re pissed at the absurd mismanagement of our resources and the abuse of our trust & goodwill. We all need our local law enforcement to be able to deal with real crime, not extorting law-abiding citizens.
I encourage everyone else who is fed up with this behavior from the county & state to get involved in local politics! I recommend signing up to work with your local political parties; only by organizing & influencing the process can we help protect our community.
