In the words of Governor Tim Walz, "If you’re trying to erase history, you’re on the wrong side of it." Removing the original flag, which depicts a Native American riding off into the sunset, is not just about changing a design. It's an act of erasing history and symbolism that, for many, represents a part of our state's story. As a husband and father to three Native American women, I find it particularly concerning that the new design removes this representation entirely. It feels like a step backward in acknowledging and honoring the history and people who were here long before us.

Peter supported: Reinstate the Original Minnesota State Flagschool should canceled in georgia tomorow cause its way to cold and its super dangerous for everybody kids gotta wait for the bus outside and its freezing out there like frostbite and hypothermia are real things and they happen fast especially if you aint got the right coat or gloves or whatever plus buses dont even work right in this kind of weather like the engines freeze or something and the roads get all icy so its basically a disaster waiting to happen i mean who even wants to risk crashing just to get to school thats just dumb
also schools gotta have heat right what if the heaters break then everyones just sitting there shivering instead of learning anything nobody can concentrate when they freezing their butts off its just common sense that schools shouldnt even open when its this cold plus parents probably dont even wanna send their kids out in this kind of weather so half the kids wont even show up then the teachers are all like oh now we gotta reteach everything and it just wastes everybodys time
and for me this cold stuff is serious like no joke 8 people in my family died from being to cold thats not something you just mess around with and me ive had it real bad too i lost a bunch of my hair and even some parts of my body cause of the cold its horrible and nobody should have to go through that its like the cold just doesnt care and if schools dont cancel they basically saying they dont care either
so yeah cancel school its not worth the risk like just stay home stay warm and avoid all the crazy stuff that could happen its just the smart thing to do

The lack of city noise and airplane noise was a factor in buying my home here. FAA and aviation department have changed flight paths without consultation or any compensation to land owners. On many occasions I thought that the planes were crashing into my home because they were flying so low and loud ... this is too close to homes for safety. We have open spaces outside the city limit that can be utilized for safe flight. Why on top of homes?
