While I have not been writing on Change.org, that doesn't mean I haven't continued to try to keep this issue in the minds of the decision-makers who can help to make the change to get all of our kids OMNYCards.
But, when going to politicians doesn't get the work done, the only other choice is to find the next candidate who will make this an important issue.
Over the past few months my wife and I have been talking about what to do when the world seems on the brink, and my wife has taken the brave step to step into the fight. She is running For State Assembly for District 69 (The Upper West Side, Morningside Heights, and Harlem).
While the policy issues that she is going to focus on are varied, (visit her website to learn more), she will keep up the OMNYCard Fight!
