Growing up I watched Selena perform and dreamed to one day go to her concert which never happened. The coward who took her life does not deserve to be paroled because she took a genuine kind hearted soul. Still til’ this day, I look up to her and listen to her music on a daily basis. That coward took the innocent life of a 23 year old who did not finish to achieve her goals and most importantly live her life. Her light was dimmed and so should hers. She deserves to die where she is. There is no form of rehabilitation or clemency for her disgusting life.
Selena has a fan base that will never forget her legacy and we advocate for her! Selene deserves JUSTICE.
How can someone who was clearly in DANGER get this much time for defending their family, they other people were clearly in front of his property for a reason to do harm this is very very unjustified to me and a lot of other people We pray the Good Lord hears our prayers and cries & MOVES BIG ON MARVINS BEHALF, we were neighbors to this family & they are very good people Marvin was my eldest sons best friend we were neighbors and they went to school together, ONLY GOD KNOWS THE HEART OF THIS YOUNG MAN && KNOWS THIS WAS NOT HIS INTENTIONS TO HAPPEN HOW IT HAPPENED HE WAS ONLY DEFENDING HIS LOVED ONES! MAY THE LORD FREE YOU SON & BRING YOU BACK TO YOUR BABY & LOVED ONES!!! BE STRONG MARVIN & CALL ON THE LORD ,🙏GOD BLESS🤍
Making Election Day a federal holiday in the United States could increase voter turnout by providing citizens with more time to vote without work conflicts. In the 2020 election, 13.1% of registered voters who didn’t vote cited being too busy or having scheduling conflicts as the reason. Additionally, such a holiday would celebrate democracy, turning voting into a nationwide event. This approach aligns with practices in other countries and has significant public support; a Pew Research Center survey found that nearly 80% of Democrats and nearly 70% of Republicans favor making Election Day a federal holiday.
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
