Suicide awareness is a critical topic that aims to reduce stigma, provide support, and prevent self-harm in communities worldwide. Recent trends show a growing public awareness of mental health challenges and the importance of early intervention. Petitions under this topic often focus on increasing resources for mental health services, promoting suicide prevention programs, and advocating for better access to support for individuals in crisis.
Notable petitions highlight the need for improved mental health education in schools and workplaces, as well as the importance of destigmatizing conversations around suicide and seeking help. One petition, with tens of thousands of signatures, urges policymakers to prioritize funding for mental health services and suicide prevention efforts.
Join the movement to raise awareness, support those in need, and push for systemic changes that can save lives. Your involvement can make a significant impact on reducing suicide rates and promoting mental well-being in our communities.
I don't support ending the suicide hotline. A human should answer the phone instead of giving you all these options. Someone who wants to end their life doesn't have time nor the patience to listen to all the options. Something needs to be done about that. Talking to a REAL person immediately can help save more lives. Improve it not end it!
I hope that someone in a position of authority who can make a difference in Ellen's case will finally take action. The fact that her family is doing so much more work to bring her justice than anyone else responsible is deeply disturbing. Ellen deserves a real investigation and for her murderer to be brought to justice. Please stop letting this family, and the rest of us, down and do what anyone of us would expect in their position. Remember, no one is exempt from falling victim to crime. It can happen to any of us, and one day you too could find yourself in their position or Ellen's. Do the right thing before it's you that ends up on the receiving end of what this loving family has been going through for years now.
The truth needs to be revealed. This case must be reopened in order to do so. The evidence thus far supports that it was a homicide not suicide and Ellen Rae Greenberg deserves a proper investigation. In the absolute least, her family has a right to a truthful and intelligent investigation.
I know nothing about the legal system. My whole life has been working with young children and raising my children, but even I can see the injustice here. Anyone with plain common sense can. Now, the light on the whole situation has been revealed to everyone. You might as well come clean about everything. What if this was a member of YOUR FAMILY? Wouldn't you fight to find out the truth of what really happened? Please give Sandee and Josh Greenberg the answers they need so that they can attempt to move on. There is a murderer that committed this horrific crime out there going about life free. I pray this family gets justice for their beautiful Ellen soon. Please...it's the right thing to do.
I’m so tired and sad that there never seems to be anyone who listens or sees who the true victim is. It’s time to stop covering up mistakes- admit you did something wrong in the investigation and fix the situation. Do the job right in the first place and don’t listen to the perpetrator’s version and take it as gospel. As Laura Richard’s says “ Do your damn job”
