I wish you all the success with this very important petition. Having to petition for something so fundamental to the protection of women (although I think this abuse is also carried out by women towards their men) is a testament of how far removed we are to the awareness of creeping misuse of technology. This is not a subject that can be camouflaged as freedom of speech. It's evil and insidious and has a far-reaching psychological impact on the victims of this behaviour.
J supported: Revise Legal Frameworks to Address Tech-Abuse and Stalking in Domestic Violence Cases
A friend of mine is currently being stalked by a man who is also stalking several of her female coworkers. If he were to be put on a list, might be safer.
Catherine supported: High Risk Serial Domestic Abusers & Stalkers Must Be Managed via MAPPA Like Sex Offenders
There is no justice in waiting until someone is killed to take action, those who show patterns of abuse need to be responded to reasonably which means we need to change. We need to create a culture of proactive care and not reactive punitive actions (that usually don't help).

A woman’s life is ruined and yet her perpetrator will get a second chance, what is our legal system, why punish someone who’s been through so much pain but give their abuser a second chance at life while she is vulnerable and could very well be attacked by him again, or he could easily go after anyone else
Kyra supported: High Risk Serial Domestic Abusers & Stalkers Must Be Managed via MAPPA Like Sex Offenders
As a trauma therapist, it is essential that survivors are heard and recognized, and that serial perpetrators are held accountable. Current laws and processes are insufficient to protect survivors and other potential victims.
Mischa supported: High Risk Serial Domestic Abusers & Stalkers Must Be Managed via MAPPA Like Sex Offenders
I’ve been stalked. The fact that women are regularly ignored for our concerns for our safety. Repeat offenders pose a threat to everyone and people, especially women and girls, need to be informed about a serial stalker’s presence in their neighborhood.
