As a local first responder closing Holder would significantly delay response times to get to emergencies in the area. Especially when we are responding from Springfield or the far side of Republic. Keeping this road open is crucial when it comes to people in need of help.

This road is a major thoroughfare for us that live in the area traveling from republic to nixa. If your waiting on 1st responders this road could mean life or death.

We have lived in our current home (about one minute from Holder Road) for nearly 20 years. My family has always used Holder when we go to Nixa, Ozark, Branson, and other cities in that direction/area. Increased traffic and new housing has affected all local residents here. That doesn't mean we try to shut down a road to 'outsiders'. It's an absurd request and I am against closing Holder Road.

We have owned our current home (located about 1 minute from Holder Road) for nearly 20 years. Holder is a very useful road and my family has always used it when we go to Nixa, Ozark, Branson and other cities in that direction/area. Increased traffic and new houses have affected all of the locals in this area. That doesn't mean we try to close a road or exclude 'outsiders'. It's an absurd request and I am against closing Holder Road.

My dad used to take me on this road to teach me how to drive over water passings carefully. Not just that but my brother who is a first responder and with having medical field experience myself. It worries me for people's safety for first responders response time if the road were to be closed.

I grew up in Clever. Lived off M Highway for a majority of my life. Holder road is the only way I know to get to republic. I’ve traveled that road since the day I turned 16 and I’m almost 30 now. I take holder every single time we take our kids to see my folks, and I go that way a lot with both of my businesses. Would hate to lose this strip of road!

My family and I use this road to be able to get to the James river and enjoy the river. Closing this road would make us have to commute an extra 20 minutes just to get to the river. Keep this road open!

I own property in Lincoln Township and as a part time resident of Christian County, I use Holder Road frequently. Closure of this road will negatively impact the community and create obstacles to fire, ambulance and EMT first responders.

For the welfare of the community, please keep Holder Road open. This affects the safety of more than these few people. It also affects our local school bus routes and extra expenses, extra travel and fuel costs for not only community members, but for emergency services and first responders. It's the only direct access to this side of the James River coming from Springfield at the low water crossing, where people from upstream can also be affected by any delay in gaining access to the road.

Living on the far north side of Christian county at the county line, it would greatly impact response time to our neighborhood if they close down this road. There are several that would be greatly impacted on Terrell Valley Road.
