Campers on Undercliffe Road have been a staple of Felixstowe for decades, I have wonderful memories of going there in my grandparent's camper in the 90s. Surely a plan with the stated aim of allowing "visitors to access the beach front easily" shouldn't involve banning a swath of visitors from accessing the beach front easily...
Rachel a soutenu : Stop Campervan Ban on Undercliff road East in Felixstowe
I care deeply about this issue, my brother works very hard driving ambulances, and on his days off he enjoys quality time in Felixstowe, going to the gym and pool where he has a membership, swimming in the sea, using the local shops and restaurants to then go back to working hard for the NHS. Please reconsider stopping people who happen to enjoy Felixstowe and what it has to offer from parking on the seafront in their vans. Thank you

My campervan is my only vehicle. I drive to Felixstowe so I can meet friends and family, walk to the local cafés/bars/shops and generally enjoy the area. It very disheartening to see that if I had a vehicle such as a land rover or large saloon car (the same size as my van), there would not be an issue with this. Just because I drive a van does not mean I shouldn’t be able to enjoy the same experiences as all other vehicle drivers! I am a respectful driver (I have seen some locals/non-van drivers parking very inconsiderately for other drivers as pedestrians), I even leave an area better than I find it by litter picking the area I park in (again, I have seen some non-van drivers leaving rubbish etc), and I do not obstruct where I park (I saw an extra large lorry carrying wood reverse a long way down the path and swing out onto the road in between a parked campervan and lamppost with no issue, and there has ALWAYS been spaces to park for others when I have been there). There needs to stop being discrimination against campervans parking and enjoying the area like everyone else!! A car and a campervan pose the same issues, so why just campervans?!

France welcomes campervans with proper facilities, and it brings life and money to coastal towns. Meanwhile, the UK keeps pushing campers out—Felixstowe could lead by example instead of following the same tired, anti-camper mindset. Don’t let a few grumpy voices ruin it for everyone. Let them park, stay, and support local businesses.

I am not a NatWest customer but it is getting increasingly difficult to action in person transactions with branches closing. I recently had to go to Redditch and Merry Hill to sort out a forgotten pin. Something I could not do online, I could have gone up to Birmingham city centre but have you tried to drive around there recently it is hell!! This card ended up locked for almost a month because my local bank had shut. My son gets money for Christmas and birthdays, we have a bank account set up for him but again trying to get to a local branch is next to impossible. We still need brick and mortar banks to service the communities, and bring jobs to the area.
Rebecca a soutenu : Prevent the Closure of Acocks Green NatWest Bank
This is a viable business used by our family. Closing viable businesses will only hasten the decline of Morden. The council should only approve housing on rundown or unused sites like Sainsbury’s car park.
Doug a soutenu : Save Anil's Londis Shop and Post Office in Morden
We have used this shop since 1962 when it was a very small "paper shop" run by two elderly ladies. It has always been part of Morden and must not be allow to close. Ronald & Sylvia Dominy
Ronald a soutenu : Save Anil's Londis Shop and Post Office in Morden
Please do not take Anil’s post office from us, it’s a place of a get together for so many elderly who stop for a chat, I made new friends there too. Anil has always been kind and supportive of all the neighboroughs, Crown Lane and Morden will become such grey place without him as we will loose a massive part of our community. No one wants these flats here, please build somewhere else, fix and renovate Morden station, it’s a wreck. Leave our post office standing and serving us like it has been for many many years. Do not get rid off good, add good.
Tatiana a soutenu : Save Anil's Londis Shop and Post Office in Morden
Our family have been using this post office and shop for over 30 years. And judging by the numbers of customers waiting at the PO counter this shop is a well used local resource. Yes, build new homes at semi derelict sites like Sainsbury’s car park. But don’t destroy viable businesses like Anil’s.
