Key issues and themes in these petitions include advocating for immigrant rights, challenging anti-immigrant rhetoric, and pushing for more inclusive and compassionate immigration policies. We are witnessing a heartbreaking return of mass deportations, family separations, and unjust raids by ICE—especially in cities like Los Angeles, where many immigrants call home.
Hundreds have already been arrested, detained, or deported. Some are parents, workers, and community leaders. These actions do not make us safer—they traumatize families, create fear, and violate basic human rights.
We demand an immediate halt to ICE raids, the release of detained individuals, and that our city and state cut ties with ICE to protect our neighbors.
We call on:
Congress to defund ICE’s deportation programs
Local mayors and officials to declare sanctuary policies and stop cooperating with ICE
DHS to end deportation quotas and data-driven arrest systems
✊🏽 Our communities deserve dignity, safety, and due process—not fear and militarized enforcement.
America was built on immigration and just about everyone here is an immigrant. This is no longer about protecting out country from terrorism, instead it has become about spreading hate, labeling human beings as "illegal", and tearing families apart.
