6-8 metre long trucks driving through the quiet residential back streets of Toukley to the proposed site, which is in a heavily trafficked intersection with school children crossing the roads and attending school directly across the road! This case is financial greed Vs children’s health and safety!
L. supported: Not Lovin’ It: Say No to McDonald’s ToukleyOur tiny town can't handle a mega Macca's, the infrastructure can't handle such a traffic issue and the school is across the road and our children don't need obesity and unhealthy eating venues in the area, we have a great selection of local businesses who are going to suffer because of this greedy business
Julz supported: Not Lovin’ It: Say No to McDonald’s ToukleyI think a government/council should care about the families that live in the community. Adding a poor health option and more danger to an already dangerous intersection across from a K-6 primary school doesn’t make any sense unless you’re more concerned about making money than about people’s lives.
