Puppy mill pups are at the center of a contentious debate over animal welfare and responsible breeding practices. These commercial dog breeding facilities prioritize profit over the well-being of the animals, leading to unethical treatment, poor living conditions, and health issues for the puppies. Petitions within this topic focus on ending the cruel practices of puppy mills, advocating for stricter regulations, and promoting adoption over purchasing pets from these establishments.
One prominent petition with thousands of signatures calls for the shutdown of a notorious puppy mill where dogs are kept in deplorable conditions. Another petition highlights the need for increased oversight and enforcement of animal welfare laws to protect these vulnerable animals.
By supporting petitions on puppy mill pups, individuals can help raise awareness, demand change, and push for reforms in the breeding industry. Take action today to ensure a brighter future for these innocent animals.
With an over abundance of unloved and starving homeless animals, and limited shelter resources, it is unfair to these sweet creatures to be bred without limitations. Help control the animal population for their sake.
These pet stores get their dogs from puppy mills puppy mill moms and dad’s are treated in the most inhumane manner. I own a puppy mill survivor and he will never be a normal dog because of the abuse he suffered in the mill not to mention that most of these dogs gotten from the puppy mills are sick and they’re not well taken care of at this Manassas pet store. Their water bowls are always empty. Shut them down now.
I have been a lover of animals all of my life. I’ve had dogs since I was 2 yrs old. This breaks my heart when puppies are treated like this. This is unacceptable and we must all do something about this.
I aw the photos of dogs in faeces, water only via bottles ‘guinea pig feeders’ they walk on wire floors so the urine seeps through. They don’t get walked. They have no love. They sell 50 a week! Shelters are full of adoptable pets. We don’t need this barbaric treatment of young puppies. Ban these stores from Prince William County!
Keeping Dogs in glass and metal enclosures - no toys, no beds, nothing soft to lay on, and never taking them outside - is worse than a rescue shelter where at least they have a blanket or bed to lie on and a toy to chew on and are taken outside twice a day. It’s just another form of animal cruelty for money making purposes! Shame on you for allowing this to happen!!
I have loved animals all my life. I had a Jack Russell that I had for 14 years that was my heart and soul I took him everywhere with me and he passed away on me 2 years ago due to stomach cancer. I do not want to see no animal harmed, dangered or abused. It saddens me that the world we live in today how they treat these hopeless, loving animals and something needs to be done about it.
Tickets Mill had a pet store years ago. My daughter bought a chihuahua without my permission. It cried all the time. Turns out it was inseparably from its brother so I bought the brother so they could be together. Went back for a collar and there was another one from the same breeder .Said they had lost it for awhile!!!- Every dog in the place had kennel cough. I ended up with the third sibling because I didn't want it to go back to the breeder. They were shut down a few weeks later. Pet shops encourage breeders. We don't need any in our county.
I am a senior now,was an an̈small rescues, we fought against these horrible , hellish pet shops and handled many of the puppies born with horrible defects after they were thrown away by owners who couldn't or wouldn't invest the money for the treatment they needed. Many states have outlawed these puppy meals and pet shops. It makes me happy that the younger generation is carrying the fight on. God Bless You! Dottie C
