The Heartland Flyer is vital for Ardmore and connects our community to OKC and Fort Worth without relying on cars. It’s a lifeline for seniors and boosts our local economy. Please keep it running and consider expanding it northward! 🚂

Even if you drive, having an alternative would take people off the roads, thus reducing travel times, pollution, noise, and stress for the driver. I would love to see more investment made in RI's rail infrastructure.Note that Newport county also used to have a trolly system as well that ran all the way to Tiverton:

Matthew supported: Aquidneck Island RailWhat does Google lose by including this information on Maps? I just don't get that. I use it more than I realized until it was gone. I may never click on a trail or lift, but just by scanning the map, I can tell things like which direction I'm facing from the top of a trail, what landmarks to look for, where to find a restaurant or lodging near the slopes, etc. It is very valuable.
Martin supported: Urge Google to Bring Back Ski Lifts and Cable Cars on Google Maps!I used this a lot when choosing where to stay at the big resorts and often used it to guage where i currently am as a landmark when i get lost on the provided trail map that doesn't have gps. Not everyone skis at vail with their own gps app based trail maps. I even went to 2 smaller resorts that i never would have known existed because i saw the lift lines on the map near my route. Please bring it back. Surveying at only the large resorts is not at all an accurate sample of who uses this and is unfair to the smaller resorts.
Jason supported: Urge Google to Bring Back Ski Lifts and Cable Cars on Google Maps!I signed this petition because a moody bus driver closed the doors on my then 3rd grader, that left him pinned half in, half out, and dragged to the other side of the side street, while holding on for his life. He has ongoing issues due to it. Things like this should never happen to our children. There should be sensors in the door and stairwell as well, that arm and don't allow the bus to move unless cleared. Our children are our future.

This is unacceptable in so many ways. I am sorry for Emory and many like her who didn't deserve this. Hope this law is put in place ASAP.
