As somebody who struggles with mental health issues, the concept of a police officer refusing to try to understand when somebody is going through something is utterly terrifying, especially when taking into account how stigmatized certain disorders are.

He has not gone through any vetting process that would allow him to do the awful, ILLEGAL things that he is doing. He might be an American, but he came here illegally! Shouldn't he be one of the ones deported?! My company is a VA vendor. I provide personal & medical care for veterans in their homes. One veteran I cared for for over 4 years, until his death. My new client is so dependent on me that he believes I am family. I can't even say "see you tomorrow" without him crying and being so scared he'll never see me again.
Now with the Unnecessary cuts to the VA, there is a real chance I might leave one day and not be able to return, due to his care being cut. He cannot remember how to do most things. I have to show him things, like blowing his nose, taking a shower, using the toilet. This once respected man, who still gets job offers, needs the VA now more than ever.
No one should be in the position Musk is forcing VA personnel and veterans' families are being forced to consider! Musk needs to leave! Empathy is the highest form of Love and respect. These veterans offered their all to protect this once great nation. Don't let Musk control even one more dime. Our private information is not safe with DOGE. We should not fear the kind of government we liberated Europe from in WW2. And yet, every day, we get closer to that.

Their NIH grant that funds their Alzheimer’s research has been frozen for next year. This administration is directly halting progress to help scientific advancement, human health, and real people with real jobs, passions, and fields of study. You cannot say this is not impacting your neighbors — this is at a local university.

You work for us. If we weren’t gerrymandered, you would be fired. This isn’t a numbers game. This is people’s lives. You seem to forget that.
