I want a president who can lead with integrity, class and decorum. One who does not put himself above all else. Trump is playing with people's lives, and he is seriously dangerous. I care about our democracy, which it is in real jeopardy with Trump and his gang of thugs.
As a Black and Puerto Rican woman (a minority), My opposition to Donald Trump stems from several concerns:
1. Dismantling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Initiatives
Recently, President Trump signed executive orders eliminating DEI programs from the U.S. military and placing federal DEI staff on leave, with plans for eventual layoffs. These actions undermine efforts to promote inclusivity and address systemic inequalities affecting marginalized communities.
2. Policies Adversely Affecting minority/ lower class Communities
Trump’s administration has proposed policies that could disproportionately harm lower class Americans, such as reducing the scope of the Affordable Care Act and scaling back Medicaid. These changes threaten healthcare access for many in our communities.
3. Historical Discrimination Allegations
In 1973, the Trump Management Company faced a lawsuit alleging systematic exclusion of minorities from their apartments. This history raises concerns about Trump’s commitment to fair housing practices.
4. Rhetoric and Actions Perceived as Racist
Trump’s rhetoric has been criticized for inflaming racial tensions. The Southern Poverty Law Center recorded a surge in hate incidents following his election, attributing this increase to his divisive language.
These factors contribute to my stance against Donald Trump, as I believe his policies and actions are detrimental to the progress and well-being of minority communities.
Trump is a manipulative and lying narcissist, clearly unfit for a president. To compare America to Nazi Germany is fairly easy. I am a 14 year old transgender male & identify as bisexual. I am a diagnosed autistic person. My mom is also apart of the LGBTQ+ (aroace) community and is an immigrant (from england, doesn’t have citizenship yet) and I am scared. Trump is a criminal, yet he is still president. He is an unstable and dangerous man who shouldn’t be leading the country. I will never stop until this man is gone fron presidency.
