The location is in a direct line between Alamanda and Homestead schools. When my daughter makes the transition between the schools, people who reside at the proposed caravan park will become part of a safety management plan for her. It's not appropriate for the area.
The proposed site is near residential streets that are not designed to accommodate increased traffic from caravans and tourist vehicles. This raises significant safety concerns for pedestrians, especially children and elderly residents.
I live next door to where the proposed caravan park and market are being built. I moved into Avington Lifestyle in February this year. This was to be my forever home but now cabins and camp sites will be next door as well as a market. This is not acceptable. The roads are not designed for this traffic. Transients will be able to walk into the lifestyle village.
