Sav Mor in Grenada is a family owned pharmacy that gives much more than meds. Fair has helped me several times with my Medicare pharmacy plans and with advice on OTC meds that could hurt other medical issues I have. We cannot lose Sav Mor or any other independent pharmacy here or in the state!!!!
I use an independent pharmacy and the service is wonderful! We’ve used big name pharmacies before and they are slow, rude and have even messed up our meds multiple times. Independent has great personal service and they all know me by name!
We truly need our local small pharmacies. I couldn’t imagine that a Walgreens or big Corp would call my insurance for me, would make sure I’m getting the best price, would deliver scripts to those who cannot get out like our elders, a pharmacy that comes in on their off days for emergency meds.
We NEED independent pharmacies!
This feels like our rights are being stripped from us. We deserve to choose who we support! WE pay the premiums, WE should have the choice. Our independent pharmacies should not have to lose money while others are making large gains.
Please listen to the peoples VOICES - take away small independent pharmacy and you take away crucial opportunities for rural patients to get the resources and medications that can save their lives.
I desire to get my prescriptions from my local pharmacy, but ExpressScripts continues to make that increasingly difficult. I just want my local pharmacy to be given the same opportunities that the big pharmacy chains get. I need my local pharmacist because he know my health needs.
I love my independent pharmacy! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and I rarely have to wait longer than a few minutes to get my rx filled. They will deliver to my home, if requested. Customer service is wonderful. The larger drug stores almost always have a very long wait to fill my rxs. I have waited 2 hrs or longer on many occasions. I don't think the independents are being treated fairly.
i work in an independent drug store and it’s truly like our second home, we are so compassionate about our patients, we live in tylertown ms and we have been taking donations for the tornado that hit on saturday and seeing the communities face a little brighter when we’re able to help them out with the simple things- the closest cvs or chain pharmacy is over 25 minutes and many patients aren’t able to drive that far for basic needs of medications
As a pharmacist in a retail setting I see the unfairness every single day processing claims that are reimbursed below our acquisition cost. I have watched daily over the course of the past several years this problem become worse and worse. How it can possibly be legal for a company to reimburse you less than what you paid for the medication makes zero sense. Please pass this bill and give independent pharmacies a fair chance to stay open and serve our patients of Mississippi.
