So glad that I saw ur notice at Oak Valley Animal hospital Bmt. Yes it is deplorable that th Banning Shelter was closed with NO ADEQUATE NO-KILL PLANS IN PLACE / I heard & testified at Banning City Council concerning this & begged they continue w/Amber or have a dependable caring substitute in place - I will b happy to assist w/petition signing -God bless & Merry Christmas!
ROBERT W. supported: Beaumont CA animal shelterI would like to say that I cannot believe the shelter just closed. I always thought there was one up there. I live 35 minutes away. I hope that city Council hears everyone’s words and they do open up another shelter. Animals really do need your help. it is horrible to see him out in the streets. There’s only so much that we can all do . I would like to say that if a shelter was to be opened up there, I would definitely volunteer my time to help.
Ann supported: Beaumont CA animal shelterEn realidad esta es una tragedia que afecta a los más indefenso, hacer conciencia a los conductores es algo necesario ya que nadie debería de pasar por este dolor de perder a un ser que ama.
Sarah supported: Implement "Slow Down for Pets" Signs in Residential AreasI have shared my life with parrots They are intelligent creatures who are not fully domesticated like cats and dogs. This bird deserves so much more and this situation is not at all adequate. My prayers that help will come before it is too late and the person keeping him in this manner needs to be educated so it doesn't happen again.
Kim supported: MACAW RESCUE NEEDED NOW!I own a Blue and Gold macaw that has lived with me over 20 years. Keeping a tropical parrot in open elements during cold Winter season can be fatal or cause sickness! And the small cage is not appropriate for a large parrot as they need mobility! I urge authorities in Netherlands to take this matter seriously and expedite a rescue of this suffering bird. It is obvious that the owner is irresponsible and is causing great harm to this innocent parrot. Please save this precious bird from these cruel conditions fast.
David supported: MACAW RESCUE NEEDED NOW!I have a macaw and can't imagine the pain this poor baby is in mentally and physically 💔
Samantha supported: MACAW RESCUE NEEDED NOW!Keeping a parrot trapped in these conditions is nothing short of abuse. It goes against all of the basic necessary living conditions of these emotionally intelligent birds.
Roger supported: MACAW RESCUE NEEDED NOW!I care about the welfare and wellbeing of all living beings on this planet. Something has to budge. We cannot continue treating animals like this. We share the same planet and we share the same home. It is downright cruel.
Jessica supported: MACAW RESCUE NEEDED NOW!As a parrot owner of almost 50 years, I can tell you that what this horrible person is doing to this macaw is CRIMINAL AND CRUEL. He is deliberately thumbing his nose at the law because it is doing nothing to protect this poor bird. Authorities need to TAKE THAT MACAW AWAY FROM HIM and find a parrot sanctuary.
You also need to forbid him from owning birds ever again.
SHAME on you for letting this go on like this - it shouldn't take a petition to put an end to this nonsense.
