I have 2 rabbits I got from a local rescue centre, before I got my bunnies I had my cousin who has kept house rabbits for ten years, show me how to care for my rabbits.<br>
It helped immensely as I had very little idea how much of a commitment it would take. Rabbits shouldn't be able to be bought from a shop on a whim. They require an exotic veterinarian and lots of patience.
Pete supported: Stop the sale of live animals in Pets at Home storesI have loved animals my whole life and the conditions that these pet stores keep their animals in is wrong and the mass breeding culture needs to end.
Kaelyn supported: Stop the sale of live animals in Pets at Home storesAs a Rabbit owner, I can assure you they require so much love, attention & patience. They are so loving but also require so much love in return. Without proper care, this will eventually lead to more abandoned rabbits in the wild that were once domesticated. Please reconsider this act & stop massively breeding this small animals for profit. This is cruel & unfair to these animals! Thank you.
Sara supported: Stop the sale of live animals in Pets at Home storesI saw first hand pets being delivered in the most awful vans freezing cold many poorly rabbits under weight gut stasis econnoculi. Guinea pigs pregnant ringworm conjunctivitis hamsters wet tail rats respiratory problems I worked there for 11 years I voiced my opinion so many times many rabbits sadly died was awful
