I live in Chatham county because it's a beautiful rural area of close knit pp neighbors and friends. It's beautiful here and there are grape orchards farms and beautiful parks to enjoy. Too much growth will ruin our way of living. Away from the crowded suburbs with nature and land surrounding us. Please let it stay that way. Small community stores are fine but large cookie cutter houses and upscale communities is not as something t GF at would be of benefit others t GF and raise taxes and make it hard on out rural communities and farms

The removal of over ten acres of trees has resulted in the displacement of numerous species, including deer, turtles, and wild turkeys. While I support responsible development, it must prioritize wildlife preservation and proceed sustainably. The original aesthetic appeal of IGH stemmed from its abundant greenery and preserved landscape; the current development presents a visually unappealing cluster of uniform townhomes and apartment complexes which is awful.

Had I known it was going to turn into an Eagan/A.V situation we would have looked elsewhere. I grew up in Eagan and am saddened by how the "progress" is taxing the elderly out of their homes.

It's not like it used be and I have lived her for just under 40 years and seen fields hat once had deer grazing now be filled with many homes starting at $500k. The place I bought pumpkins for most of my life was leveled and is now $500k+ homes with no lawns. I drove by an old farm that had horses for many years and now it has the most expensive townhouses and apartments in IGH. It's sad that everything that was great to see in nature and animals has been turned into major developments that are not affordable for a majority of the residents who live here. I miss the deer and the wildlife in the area that have gone. . . . .and it's all for expensive housing.

To start off with, 30-06 or smaller non-magnum cartridges might be a good test. that opens up 30-06, 308, .243, and all of the newer 6.5mm and 6mm offerings while still keeping things somewhat moderate. I have a rifle I would love to hunt with chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor that is extremely accurate and gets practiced with regularly, that seems much safer than using a rifle I only bring out around hunting season.

We were drawn to the natural beauty, thick canopies of trees, and abundant wildlife in the neighborhood. In the 2 years we have been here, we have seen multiple homes be thrown up crammed together (2 on a lot that used to have 1 home) after scalping the land. It’s negatively impacting the ecosystem and ruining what makes this neighborhood so special and unique. The new building is motivated by profit and greed only with zero regard for the existing families that call this place home!

Wooded neighborhood with lots of wildlife. The streets are narrower than many and First responders can't get vehicles through if cars parked on both sides of the street. Quiet neighborhood with lots of children at play and very little traffic. We don't want the added traffic or noise that comes with high density housing! This beautiful gem is WHY families move to Charlotte. There are plenty of lovely urban areas in uptown, Today etc...for young upwardly mobile and executives. Don't destroy our neighborhood!

As a European immigrant I’m used to high rise buildings, but people here only like to drive. Higher density in this particular area can only be negative, there are zero positive effects to this.
