Lil Shine brightened my life with his art in the darkest times, I would love to see him free and prosper onward so he can continue to release beautiful music freely. Lil Shine knew what he did was wrong and he was very honest and transparent with his fans, the fact that he was able to do that shows that deep down he truly cares for his people and his fans care about him deeply as well, and thats more than a lot of these industry owned artists could say about their fans. I believe Lil Shine should be free #FREESHINE
I have devoted my entire career, 37 years, to international development and global health. No man, no matter how bombastic and self-important, should be allowed to destroy the institutions that carry out that work. Or to deny governments, communities resources they need to help themselves.
Human trafficking has increased in our area. My own son was a victim who had gotten take right on our own street (our area has always been a nice area). Thank God he was able to escape and navigate his way back home. Never has this been a problem in our community like how it is now. These "leaders" are no leaders. They are destroying our home. It's time for change and that change starts with our voice.
I hiked in those hills 3 times a week for 13 years - watching a place I love burn to the ground due to the mismanagement of city officials is enraging. The destruction of the wildlife and the implications this will have on the environment far outweigh saving smelt. This is a catastrophe both for humans, animals and the planet. Those hills are the people’s escape from the chaos of LA. My heart is broken
Homeless is an all time high in my small town. My kids cannot walk to school or play in the neighborhoods in town. I’m a single mother and working pay check to pay check. Inflation is ridiculous and rent has gone up so much I can barely feed my children. But don’t qualify for assistance because I make to much.
as a teenage lesbian girl, i am so beyond terrified that i won’t be able to marry my girlfriend or that i will be sent away for being open about my sexuality
