I have been through this same issue. And it was all based on anonymous calls. I completed their program and only got 1 of 4 children back. I was the victim of an ex strangling me and shooting with intent to kill. Because he got a plea (20 years of PROBATION), I was accused of failure to protect. My children were not harmed, I got them out of the house before he choked me. Then I was able to get them to the neighbor's house while waiting 28 minutes for police to arrive, which on the dispatch call, he shot at me 3 times. How is that failure to protect? Why allow a felon then 2 years later was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and allow him to remain free? Yet CPS didn't terminate his rights when he tested positive for meth on a hair follicle test. I was tested by fingernail, hair follicle, and urine and was clean. They tore my family apart. Never did they offer to help me in any capacity besides seizing my bank account that only had $89.00 in it for "child support" for the one child they decided I could have in my home. INVESTIGATE their lack of due process and violation of civil rights.
I send my condolences. One more victim is just one too many, especially when the offender has a known history of sexual assault. Please see my petition. My daughter was raped at 9 years old. When I discovered her offender return to our community I posted my petition in hopes that it would prevent the possibility of there ever being another victim. But my petition wasn't enough to prevent there from being another victim. Less than four years later, another victim came forward. However, the trial for the second victim has been tied up in litigation for over 3 years. Meanwhile, the sex offender continues to lurk in the shadows, undetected and unknown to those that live and work around him. Apparently he won't be listed on the National Registry for the public to view until he is officially convicted of his second crime. I don't know if his second crime is or was his last crime or how many other victims there may be out there that haven't had the courage to come forward and speak up. While I encourage vigilance in people at all times, it appears that the sex offender registry just provides a false sense of security to people.
When I was 12 years old I was sexually assaulted and I came out and told the police and they didn’t have enough evidence he didn’t even show up to the lie detector test and he didn’t go to jail and while that was happening to me it was happening to my 7 year old sister and we never got our justice. He’s still walking free from this day. I know what happened to her is what would’ve happened to me if I didn’t come out and say something. Yes I do agree that pedos should have life in prison so they can’t do it to another little girl out there.

No one that assaults a child much less sexual assaults a child should receive a free pass and a slap on the hand ever, under any circumstances. Audriis death could have been prevented if stricter laws were in place
Shame on those for allowing him to step out of jail on the first instance.
Sad and sickening
Everyone that sees this petition needs to sign or the sake of the children.
For the children that are scared to speak up.
For the children that do speak up and aren’t justified.
And for the parents that endure the pain they have to see their children grow with.
Children that do speak up aren’t always able to get justice.
Give Audrii the justice she deserves.
