Prominent members of our community are being threatened, extorted, and confidence in local law enforcement has eroded. The Surrey Police Service under Lipinski has failed to provide the safety our residents deserve. Change in leadership is urgently needed, and I fully support the resignation of Chief Lipinski. Surrey deserves strong, accountable leadership that prioritizes the safety and well-being of its citizens. Change is needed.

Sikh truckers are the backbone of this country. I used to work at a Publix warehouse truckstop and did security. Some of these sikh men are overworked, tired, and most importantly they need to be treated with respect. A sincere accident doesn’t mean they should be sentenced with a strict demeanor. Be respectful to this man for his hard work in this country, and may Waheguru look over him.

Salam to all my brothers 🇮🇳🤝🇵🇰 What happened in Florida with our Punjabi truck driver was an accident, not a crime. The punishment given is too harsh and unfair. It doesn’t matter if he is from India or Pakistan—we must stand together. He is a Sardar, his religion and dignity should be respected, not treated like a criminal. We need to raise our voices 🗣️ so the American government reduces his sentence. I feel for his parents 💔—their young son went abroad only to earn for his family. Being an immigrant myself in Canada, I know how hard life is away from home. Let’s support our brother. May Allah make things easier for him and give patience to his family. Ameen 🤲
