When someone usually receive 10-20 years. They threaten to take someone kids to get them to testify against him. The person who testified only received deferred judicialfication.

No one died because of his hand . He accidentally left his wallet in his uncle vehicle and forgot he had a 24 pack in hand as he went to retrieve his wallet never in a million years did expect a man to come at him from behind and try to wrestle him down regardless of the circumstances of his case no man / boy or woman should have got a harsh sentence regardless of the so called gang affiliation or no gang affiliation he was a young man enjoying his 21st birthday with his family ready to get home to his pregnant wife and child but that didn’t not happen . Instead he was label a gang banger try to do a beer run ! He was a young man Father he held a great job that he enjoyed and was moving up ! He lived near whaley area a nice quiet area beautiful home a park close by to take his small son to play ball he attend south side Baptist and sometime St.Marys Church . A young man with a promising future sentence life in a blink of a eye . That was not justice that was and is racism. They catorigised him not know anything about him . But threw all this he still continued to get a college education he a scholar/ teacher he now speak Arabic moslem Jewish and other language's regardless I’m proud of him and the achievement he has accomplished thru all this madness he was caged in prison he was a young man lost and confused not sure what and why this happen to him ..

The culture of the justice system needs to change, and that is from the top down in Cooke County. I've experienced false allegations, had suspended cases be treated like they were open cases even after they were closed due to there never being any evidence, and I've had those investigations that never were really even investigations used to take and keep my daughter away from me. I never harmed anybody, never did anything that was accused, and I wouldn't have figured anything at all out if I had not hired a private investigator who told me the truth after going over the case. It had been closed from the begining. When I paid for my investigator I even offered to pay for my iie detector tests. The people who made the false alligators never cared to see the results of anything and never would agree to take any themselves. My daughter was taken from me. I was a vulnerable part of the population and somebody it was easy to do the way they did me.....but people should not be treated as people who have never done things to harm, and people shouldn't get punished more severely than what they deserve. Those people who are dishing out judgements and putting out all the pressure aren't getting things right at all around here. You cannot trust this system. . .who do you go to when the system is who helped the people who took your daughter away and you never did nothing to justify it????

His brother got wrongfully charged for burglary sentenced and died in prison. My cousin was charged for murder when the murderer already admitted it and was already serving time on a lesser sentence. I was sent to prison for checking no on a foodstamp application saying I lied. Not to mention the ones that took a plea because they knew they would not see justice. I can go on and on about the unjust in Cooke County. So many lives taken so many homes torn apart so many babies taken so much corruption!! People serving time today that are innocent. But you see in Cooke County it's GUILTY UNTIL PROVING INNOCENT it's been that way my whole life! Justice needs to be finally heard! God bless you all!
