If you're going to jail these men, then you should also jail the people who make envelopes, which hide the information that we're sending another person through the mail. Privacy is a human right. And these men did not break the law. And if someone did use their software to break the law, that's on the user's shoulders, not theirs. This ruling violates the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments. When I was a younger man, I was very proud to be a U.S. citizen. But little by little, things like this done by our government have removed that pride for me almost entirely. When we do things like this, we are no better than any other totalitarian authoritarian system. Not only do I not expect anyone will read this, but I don't expect this petition will do any good. Because you guys don't give a shit about us.
