Hello my name is kandas holmes-barnes a lot of you may know me by the first change.org petition with stop the gun violence when my house was shot up April 2021 and my two girls where shot, I come to you today to bring awareness to much more and I need your help to get the word out there to fight for justice for not only myself but for my son and family as well. It gets deep,

So now I bring to you why I'm bringing awareness to this situation and that is because if I never had a chance to experience with my own 2 eyes and live threw it I would of never believed my story I'm about to tell the world and yes I am afraid and yes it took me two years to come forward but what I been threw I vow to never allow another family to have to go threw this  as some of you know I had a 2 million$ lawsuits against cpd, and columbia police department, for a false arrest in January of 2019, and I have to go back this far so everyone will have a time line of just how long I have been fighting, and why they nearly killed me, and now my son is facing criminal charges so it's a time line that leads up to this event of my son.

February 2019 there was a kkk page made on snap chat these little boys made it for my children threated to hang them from a tree etc. I made a police report and evidence was turned over to the sheriff department but sherif talked to all 4 boys and released them saying he didn't see a threat and the kids of another color didn't mean any harm, by 2020 I had two children going to west Jr melita walker was the principal who also had a lawsuit against the school district so has never been fired but I had a few meetings about melita walker at the school board not going to go into to much but it got to the point I didn't want her to say anything to my kids ever, my son jordan brantley gets attacked by 3 school kids, the school called I went up there to the school with my advocate Glenn cobbins sr, officer ash, was there, teachers, my son, and kids walking in the hallway when I came threw the building because the school called me and Saud I'm sorry to inform u but your son was in a fight by 3 boys and he ran away and we can't find him so as a mother I'm upset and really just trying to understand why they can't find my son? So as soon as I go in the building and yes I start yelling malita walker runs out of her office and screams at me and say "bitch get the fuck out"" as soon as I said no your going to explain to me why? And she jumps in the air and tries to swing on me and if it wasn't for my advocate getting in-between us and pushing malita back she would of hit me, but instead after that incident she was not fired I took my son to the hospital and was kicked off of all school properties for a year, and my advocate Glenn cobbins sr. Had permission to be there for my children, my youngest daughter at west Jr. With the same principle malita walker sh3 called me one day and told me I need to meet her at the hospital and witch hospital and that my daughter after second period walked into the wrong class threw up everywhere and passed out and hit her head and she is not responsive? After 3 days at the university hospital and running all the test they couldn't find anything so they transfered us to st louis hospital and said we would stay there until they did the same test over again? And by the next day of being there they ran the same test put this time it wasn't negative for anything it was positive for some type of pill used to  tranquiliz horses and was now diagnosed with severe headaches thay lead to heart attacks and strokes? But my kids are pick up drop off so she been at school all morning so I don't understand how she could of got a hold of any of that? Still trying to figure out to this day? By jine 2020 I earned my 3rd violation on the columbia police department for illegally teaching my house without a search warrent putting my kids in a line up all under age 14 years old and sitting them on the curve while they went into my house and searched while I wasn't there? But why would they go inside my home when I have the lawsuits on them my kids said no u can't go in and u didn't have a search warrent, by June of 2020 one of the same officers Isiah Patrick who illegally went into my house without a search warrent is also the officer who came to my house when I made my first police report against a group called the east side boys there teenagers but 2 men came on my street looking for my son with an ak/47 I made a police report one of the officers that arrived was Isiah Patrick and another officer John doe, and they specifically said to me and my family that" sorry to inform you but if the Eastside boys said they where going to shoot up your house then ma'am there going to shoot your house up? That's not legal even if it was true but we ended up moving 5 days later, the house thay was shot up on juniper dr. By August 1st, everything was going good no scares no trouble no threats until my yournget boy who was going to benton elemtry at the time was treated by another color little  boy this boy eneded up pulling out a knife on my son and his friend calling them the (N) word and calling them a snitch,the school called and told me about what happend and  the police where called and she told me if it mad me fell any better it was a box cutter not a knife witch is even worse, a police report was made but the little boy was not arrested, suspended, or anything for what he did to my baby boy and his friend, by January 2021 my son jordan brantley went to the mall and jumped by 15 of the east side boys even chased threw the mall later that night my son wanted to fight one on one so he met them on the east side at night and instead of a fight they came out of a lady's house and woods shooting my son dives in the car and they take off but the guys shooting end up killing a 10year old innocent bystander at the time I had an attorney named Dan Miller and he payed the way to get my son to safety police report was field and from that day I started workout with luitent alpers, Shaunda Hamilton, reveren Grey, and my attorney Dan Miller, I almost forgot I only was in my house on goddess for under 30 days before our lives where threned and the section 8 office allowed me to move somewhere safer but by September I was served with papers saying I'm being kicked of section 8 and the last day they will be paying rent will be January 31,2021 saying the lanord said I owed for damages but I only was there for under 30days, but I need to let that be I'm there because by January 15th I was served by the sherrif saying I was being evicted because I was 3 months behind in rent and damages, but I never payed rent back then, and I was still living in the house so how did I damage anything? But I didn't have court and have to move out until may? After the shooting but even with my paperwork a lawyer and  proof the judge Gonzales sided with my landlord without looking at my evidence,but in between the months that I stayed there in January after the fight with my son Ialso was working with love columbia, and 2 other officers to get me and my family to safety also by this time had 5 violations on columbia police department and 4 where found sustained we still got threats and arrested even though my son was sent out of state saying they can get to our family without him being in town, YouTube songs luitent gilstrap said when the shooting happend he had been heard songs on you tube about the east side boys wanting to kill jordan years ago bit they just didn't know who jordan brantley was thay was inside the police station in the investigation room on camera, and also threw this time gap from January 2021 working with the police and advocates until April 7-8th 2021 the day of the shooting with still no safety plan, no plan on moving us to safety and the meeting I had with luitent alpers shouanda hamilton,and revene Grey was recorded and put into evidence, I also had to have a meeting with my attorney Dan Miller two separate times because I was approved by revren Grey that himself shaunda Hamilton the police department and my attorney had a closed meeting and discussed my safety plan and let him know what I think about it " he said the police came up with a plan to get u a house in the woods, no cell phones or internet for a year, no one can no where we live, I would have 24 hour police on scene, and my kids couldn't even give out the address or know it, but only if I didn't pursue in sewing the police department for my false arrest? I refused his offer and next my lawyer and me and shaunda Hamilton went in on the first meeting without anyone else and I told him what was said and stated that Rev. Grey said my attorney and shaunda Hamilton where there at the meeting as well and had this discussion of my safety plan my lawyer informed me and shaunda Hamilton that that never happened and that revren Grey made the whole thing up because the police can't legally say that? So we had another meeting a week later with revren Grey as well this time and I brought that up and the revren really spoke up and said "I did not say that and revrens don't lie" and I quickly raised up to leave and yelled out and pastors in the church are the main ones, and walked out after I said my peace my lawyer turns to me and says Ms barnes u better apologize to this man right now and I tur Ed and said fuck you and walked out. And never heard nomore about any safety plan and by April 7-8th at 10:36 pm my house was shot up and both of my daughters where shot my youngest baby was shot in the face broke her jaw and her jaw was wired shut for 6-8weeks and she was shot in the shoulder and my oldest baby was grazed in the arm, 46 rounds to my house and they made a before and after video and put it on you tube, and one of the little girls who had just left from my house 30 minutes prior to my house being shot up some how was there when ambulance and police where there and got a phone call in the hospital parking lot from one of the shooters she call3d her friend and he didn't live here he lived in st louis but he new my house was shot up and new there was a 22 caliber used and victims crime van hadn't even left the hospital to go to my house yet so how did he know? That Night I made my police report with officer  Isiah Patrick who took notes and questend people and was at the hospital I ended up telling officer Isiah Patrick andrevren Grey about what phone call just occurred and they specifically told me they arrested the little girl and took her phone and put it in to evidence? But I'm finding out this year that was never done? And she was never arrested? So the night of the shooting my daughter is laying in the bed can't talk not awake and the dr. Comes to my room the next day and says I'm sorry to inform you but her Medicaid doesn't pay for her meds or procedure so we only gave her Tylenol and we are releasing u today? What no never would I go for that so I called everyone on my team they gor us into woman's and children's hospital for the next 2 weeks and her meds, but I could of sworn that's a medical malpractice because she was a shot victim and they made her suffer all night with no meds, so I ended up making a tik tok someone said tell your story and watch what it can do from my first video I went viral on tik tok from there for the shooting, then the injustice in Columbia mo,so I sent my two oldest to Texas and we left for a little bit too after the shooting and she was released but we could have to come back to have her surgery so from June 2021 until November 2021 I was going viral everyday recording what the police where doing illegal and allowing the crimes to go on searching and taking people's money with no gloves on and pinning cases on people and I won a police brutality for a man in Columbia mo when the police beat him he got all his charges dropped and could of sewed them if he wanted to but I guess choose to work with them instead, I recorded things I didn't know was going to happen I just liked going live on Facebook about it and would catch stuff in the process, and cpd, did not like that at all so my videos would mysterly  lose sound, vanish, etc. When it came to doing tik tok videos on the injustice and I made it all the way to 52,000followers my page was booming I started doing podcast with people I did one with a black man well known out of texas I signed a contract didnthe podcast and it made thousands of dollars and because I didn't want to move me and my family to an unknown state in one of his clients houses and said I don't dress like I'm a victim on Facebook live he kept the money that was made off me and my children and cut me off with no explanation why, with every dime that I made off of his podcast, by November 2021 I was infront of the police department in the post office parking lot when my car was surrounded by 3 big girls while my to youngest children where in the car they jumped me and kidnapped my son and daughter and they ran  to the police department and made a report I ended up getting arrested foe child endangerment my kids where taken away by dfs wo4ker who lied in his paperwork and said I threatened to kill him so he couldn't talk to me but it's not on video or in my police report but it's in my dfs file? First off he is a government official if I threatened him in Anyway I would be looking at fed time?  But I was banged up pretty bad they took me down to boone county jail where I asked lutinent Murphy  for medical help he denied me medical attention saying I should of never endangered a child I layed on the floor gasping for air with a lump in my chest until I called the outside world and made a call to Suzanne bagby and by 12 mid night she called 911 and got the nurse to come in and check on me with luitnent Murphy so I immediately tell her that Murphy refused me medical treatment and the reason why and that's when he said I was lying and I snapped back and said and body cameras and and camera systems don't lie and he walked out and I got treatment lutinent Murphy is one of the officers in this new lawsuit that I have because of police brutality , the next day I bonded out and went straight to the police office and made a police report of my bruise and my assault the officer took pictures and said he would put it in my report? Well he dint even though his body camra I have shows him taking the pictures of my bruises I'm also on Facebook live while a couple of the girls are on my live harassing me and is the same officer who took me to the physic ward the night they will beat me, and my January 21,2022 I lost custody of my kids because of this child endangerment and that day I relapsed off of cocaine I stayed up 3 days getting high angry mad hurt confused feeling defetented I went into a quick trip on Clark lane and tore the store up just a little bit by yelling out profanity at the workers I did knock over food items I did rip out some lottery tickets but but half of the stuff the officer put in his police report where not even accurate the officer put in his report that I ripped put 10,000$ worth of lottery tickets, the cash register was knocked over and hanging by it's wires, he said I knocked over 1,000$ mop bucket, I knocked over 2,000$ in food items and said I broke a man's phone and crushed it but there no video or pictures of any of these items except for some of the food items? For knocking over the cash register. And ripping out 10,000$ in lottery tickets alone would of got me a robery case and I would be in the federal prison, but good thing there are still honest people in  the world because if it wasn't for the owner of the store making his report he stated that it was 30$ worth of lottery tickets, nothing about a cahs register, nothing about a mop bucket, nothing about this supposed phone, and that it was 130$ in food items he is what saved me but nothing could get me prepared for what the columbia police department and the sheriff department had in store for me in my evidence there is no store video? And I know for a fact I had my purse that night with all my identifications on me but some how and some way I'm only on the arresting officers body cam for 20minutes enough time to get from the store to the inside of the jail right, and I want to make sure I don't leave out nothing and everyone understands why I am fighting so hard is because u see the officers on camra put me in the car with all of my property including my purse, I am high as hell out of my mind but I feel like God took me threw a transformation that night that made me angry, fearless, and I had unbelievable stretch, it's January right winter season and her I was with a thin body suite a thin black jacket my little hand bag that goes across your body and I'm walking everywhere not one inch of my body was cold, I do remember being in the back of the police car and telling them I just won my lawsuits and my accounts are hooked up to my bitcoin account and I'm going to own the police department and jail and I was going ro make sure I fired everyone involved for what they have done to me and my family and I also spit a few times at the officer but after the first spit my mouth was dry spitting and (I had no voice you all keep that in mind) but no one ever puts a bag over my head or anything for spitting right? But like I said I'm on the body camra footage for only  only 20 minutes enough time to go from the store to the inside of the jail, when the officer gets out of the car he goes around to my side of the car you hear me yell out something and then all of a sudden the arresting officer is seen cutting off his body camra before he ever opens the police car door for me but I don't need a camra to tell my story of what happened to me inside that jail that night January 2022 but also because the videos that run threw the inside of every jail is recorded and automatically downloaded to the internet and the only way you can delete any video footage you would have to delete the whole day and even then u still wouldn't be able to get rid of all the angils and also because my God told me that night that I was going to die that night and be reborn again meaning the old me was going to die and a new beginning was going to begin and I feel like I am only alive today to tell my story to the world and no longer be afraid to speak up and or speak out because I'm hoping that that there are other victims out there that have endured police brutality,cyber bullying, school attacks, and hate crimes, violations on authority figures, lying in paperwork and cutting off body cams, destroying evidence, and pinning cases and charges on people, with lies, sweeping crimes under the rug, and just feeling like when u fight back no matter who you are the legal way that's when my retaliation started and I allowed them to do it thinking they really had me and my family's best instrest but whole time the authority figures hate me why because I am a single black mother with a criminal background no foreal income, a black mother of two black men and I will not allow or stand for anyone in the authority figures to stop me in fighting for justice fornme and mine and like I said they silenced me long enough and enough is enough and if I don't expose them for who they are and get my story out there something may happen to me and definitely they will do everything in there power to allow my son to go down for murder for the same east side boys who have been tearing up columbia missouri and who shot my house up shot my son twice and one was at break time on camra not one person is arrested for shooting my son or my house and the landlord on juniper dr. Cashed out on the insurance check after the shooting that me and him was suppose to sign and split and each child who was shot was to receive a personal check and he excluded me and my family and kept the check and by the way that address is 1802 juniper dr wish I remembered the landlords name but I have a lot of brain damage from the braring I endured that night in January 2022 they took me inside of the jail in a pod there is a vamra at every angle and in every pod by the way and people are inside the rotunda to run everything and look at cameras etc, we'll u know I was never finger printed and my picture was never taken either that night and I know for a fact that they do that  as soon as you come in unless your drunk, and immediately when your let inside the jail the cuffs are taken off immediately because the officers need to take them back and leave right after there done finishing up with me and my report and also they do not stay until the next shift comes the next day  I went into A-pod while  still cuffed behind my back they threw me in the cell and I was laying on the ground on my side in pain because I still had my cuffs on behind me, lutinent Murphy came in my cell and asked what type of drugs I was on and I being funny responded I'm on all the drugs lutinent Murphy said hmm and walked out then 30 minutes later kent Richardson who is well over 400 pounds while I was 130 socking wet came into my cell and asked if it was anybody I needed him to contact I said yes Glenn cobbins sr. And I told him by the way I have my accounts hooked up to my bitcoin account and that I had just won my lawsuits and I would be buying the jail and putting every crooked cop inside of it kent Richardson looked at me and said bitcoin and walked out after that two gaurds came in one on each side of me dragging me to the next room next to me and mind u there are cameras as well in the rooms they had me kneel on the ground as if I where about to pray while still cuffed behind my back and kent Richardson was on the back of me and caption Mc Caleb was sitting next to me Jane doe was in the door way the two police officers who arrested me where there and someone was in the rotunda  running the area officer young was there and Jane doe so it was 5 Guards and 2 police officers who was there and the administrator running the rotunda and like I said on the video from and two the jail I lost my voice but I can only think of one place that this voice came from and it could only be from God because I screamed so loud it echoed threw the whole building it was so loud whoever was in the rotunda was cutting off the vents and phones to silence my screams and while kent Richardson is on the back of me he has one hand by my hair my face on the concrete bed and with his other fist with felt like he was taking his knuckle and punching me on the left side of my head where the back of my blood vessel was over and over while they screamed out kandas shut up be still it will all be over soon after the 5th beating I stopped counting and told them they where refusing me a phone call and I said that was illegal and they turned the phone on I was able to call my advocate Suzanne bagby and the only words I was able to scream out is they beat me and trying to kill me and the phones where cut off and the earrings got even worse so all night long from the time I got there at 12 am until the next morning before next shift came on Jane doe repeatedly would step on my hands to see if I was dead or alive and if I screamed out they would drag me again to the point they used so much force dragging me I had hand prints up and down my arms and they dislocated my right arm  and I seen it dislocated but I didn't feel anything but I was so scared because that's never happened to me I've never even broke a bone before I was screaming so loud that kent Richardson heard me and said oh yea you dislocated your arm well let me help u he uncuffed my right arm wound it back up like a jack in the box and put it back into place and cuffed me back up threw me on the ground I peed on myself and the beating continued before the next shift came on someone in the rotunda bammed on the window in the process of me being beat on for them to stop I guess next shift was coming on I didn't die so they had to get ride of me so I was dragged to the police car with the two John doe officers who arrested me put me in the back seat of the police car and put a bag over my head and went to the back of the car with the other officers and started talking and while they where talking and know one was in the car with me I started talking about who I was what I was fighting for and what just happ3ned and if they took me somewhere to finish me off I didn't od and die the bag over my head scared me even worse because I told u all they never put a bag on my head when I had spit on one of the officers in the car so I just new they where going to finish me off I ended up going to the physic ward for 72 hours and I went intona mental psychosis for 6 months my Dr told me and it's on file that if it wasn't for me being highly induced with cocaine they would of killed me that night that's how severe the beating was and that the cocaine actually saved my life, and if I didn't take my meds for the rest of my life I will not come out of it I have had 4 episodes not wanting to go into all that great detail but this is why my attorney field a 5million dollor lawsuit before it went to federal court on May 28th the mayor from Columbia mo Barbara Buffalo had my lawsuits and I also field a complaint against  the officers on the beating still haven't gotten anything back my lawyer payed to get the footage and the officers are trying to say they may be destroyed? How when every jail and every prison cameras are automatically downloaded to the internet so nothing can ever get destroyed , but I'm fighting still fighting to this day my criminal background my stuff is set for trianand every arrest the police did something to me illegally like I just put into this petition, and I'm still fighting trial bit the dame day babrbra Buffalo the mayor had my lawsuit  on May 28th the same day my son was arrested for alleged murder and I was told that that would be the last day to file and that my lawyer felt that babrabra buffolo was stalling because her office contacted my lawyer and expressed there concerns of my 3 calls to the Mayers office about my son's arrested and that wasn't a reason to stall that should of been a reason to talk about it when you already know the situation I'm been waiting on someone to call me so we can discuss my concerns talk to someone over columbia police department to see about my my 7th violation against cpd but never got a call back, so I had my lawyer file my lawsuit with federal court from my understanding in every article is different and and I keep getting community guidelines off the clips I post on TikTok when everyone has a freedom of speech and so I made a YouTube page and got a terriost threat and my last account band off TikTok and I'm on my last strick on tik tok so I decided to do the next best thing and make a petition to fight for me and my son who is looking at allegedly murder from the same Eastside boys who have been trying to kill him for years like I said shot him on break time lot on camra shot on the east side recorded no one arrested no one arrested for my shooting on my house even though it's a before and after video on you tube of them shooting my house up well the new detective on the case made it very clear that the girl who was talking to one of the shooters the night at the hospital was never arrested and her phone was never seezed and that just because a video of before and after the shooting was on you tube doesn't mean they where the ones who did it and it's still an investigation even though they have names evidence police reports pictures etc.and it only take me back to why they tried to kill me that night in January 2022 and that's becaus3 I wasn't afraid to fight back I wasn't afraid to stand up and everything they kept throwing at me I never gave up and they new they would one day be exposed and was afraid because  I new to much and faught for to much and needed to be silenced, when the attempted murder failed because you can't kill God's child, and when the attempted murder failed by June 2022 the didn't evaluation on me because I told my old attorney on the phone in jail I wanted him to get the videos what happed to me and to set it for trial he got an evaluation done on me and the evaluate deemed me incompetent saying I was dollusional about my 2.4 million dollar lawsuite, I was delusional about what drugs I was on, delusional about going viral on tik tok and I was delusional about the beating and said I was incompetent but deemed me incompetent on the last page if I wasn't for my mom coming back to the state of Missouri and finding me a placement I would of been going to big in Fulton probably for the rest of my life but my mom took over as control over me my bound was 50,000$ I stayed in the jail a total of 8months for these false charges lost my kids and my mom found a facility called compass health in Springfield mo, got a pass for me to go for 30days and they deemed me competent 30 days later  and I'm still fighting these charges 3 years later I have to do hair folicals uas barely get to see my children had to do classes angermangemnt the dfs works on my case both have severe criminal charges on them now while they where in care with my kids my adopted sister Deanna Hobbs Hasn't been certified to even be in her care since 2021 they are allowing my kids to stay where there at and closing my case over these fake charges so it's only right I fight for my son jordan brantley who is in the boone county jail if anyone wants to keep him in your prayers and help us fight to open an investigation come out help with my son's attorneys fees help me fight this fight and free my son we have proof we been fighting I want the world to join my podcast and my new company for my podcast is called I survived my dream, and my podcast and this petition is to bring awareness to how brown and and black boys and girls, how if u ever fight against them u will suffer threw retaliation hate crimes cyber bullying false allegations and they will try and silence you someone passed in the jail mysteriously a year prior to my beating and one lady passed a year after me so if there ridding footage and saying they destroyed evidence that's tampering and if we don't come together and share your story and help fight back we are going to continue to fail  and allow the system to destroy get away with and let us kill each other and they will always get away with unsolved crimes because people in the community are afraid to fight back  and it's because there afraid of what may happen to them or there family but if we stand up and come together and fight together and stop police brutality we can save lives and open up unsolved cases and  bring awareness to how cropped the system is I will be putting up a gofund me account to go towards me and my son's fight for injustice will everyone around the world sign out petition no justice to peace will upload all my evidence and I  am not afraid to be sliced forever but before you try and silence me again I will speak my truth and fight for justice for me and my son because that's what mothrs do no matter what's in the way thank you for allowing me to share my rime line story and to get help to bring awareness to the world and just know you will never silence me
