My son is deaf and hard of hearing and the amount of activities he misses out on is sad. It breaks my heart that all his friends can go swimming and he can't due to his friends can't sign to him as he does not have water proof hearing devices. My son could not participate is any school activities as he did not have an Interrupter for communication as the noise level is to loud and can not hear speech. How is fair we deprive the Deaf and Hard of Hearing but not any other disabilities. This would open so much more opportunity for all our Deaf and heard of Hearing children. This is just the start of my son's story.

Our minds are the last true sanctuary of self. In a world increasingly shaped by unseen algorithms and the potential for direct brain interference, the fight for cognitive liberty isn't just about abstract rights – it's about protecting the very essence of what makes us individuals. We need to wake up to the profound implications of neurotech and AI before it's too late. This petition is a crucial step towards ensuring our thoughts remain our own. Sign it to safeguard the future of mental freedom for all
