From out of state of CA and on orders. Legally own a suppressor from GA, brought by house hold good, and was illegally, searched and seized. Have tax stamp and all. It was to reduce noise in a home, when fired, during a break-in due to protecting my infant. Exposure of a firearm being discharged in a home is amplified and significantly louder and damages hearing. With a suppresser, (legally owned) it decreases the chance of hearing damage significantly to house hold family.
My hearing was permanently damaged by the sound of gunfire, even though I was wearing ear protection. I don't want anybody else to suffer as I did - please do the right thing and make suppressors legal for responsible gun owners.
