I can understand this so much, having a non-verbal autistic granddaughter.
I have also been in this situation. I never thought it would happen to my son even though he has ASD he is bright. Unfortunatly it did. Years of stress and very little support or understanding or advice on how to help. Autistic burn out occurs our children are capable but the system is not flexible enough to cater for their needs. There mental health reaches breaking point . Its cant not won't agreed. If they could go to school they would.
Something needs to change as our SEND kids are failing and being failed. It also destroys the parents who have to fight every step of the way to be listened to understood and advocate for their children. No one can truly understand unless they have been in this situation themselves as a parent or child it has happened to.

Make the management of water a public service not a profit centre.
As a lover of wild swimming, it is now dangerous to swim because of sewage in our lakes and rivers. Also, more importantly, it affects all the wildlife.
As an aged kayaker who enjoys kayaking in Windermere, Coniston and other lakes in the Lake District I'm now really fearful
that I'll get ill from all the sewage that's polluting our waterways. This has got to stop to protect our lakes and rivers and allow people to enjoy our waterways without fear of getting I'll.
