I grew up playing football in this community and Charlie is by far the best fit and change maker for these kids that I have seen. You would have to be an absolute fool or very blind to not see what this man does for these kids and this community. It’s a great loss and he won’t be without a job for long. We are going to let another community reap the benefits of one of our own?? For as long as I’ve known this man, he has always had one down fall being a rams fan. Haha Reinstate Charlie!!
My son was coached by the Bibeault family for many years, which made a huge impact in his life. Charlie has always show me and my family respect. He is a respected coach and an amazing man, raised by two of the most amazing people. Gail and Charlie. A very terrible mistake has been made to the youth of the City of Woonsocket.
He is one of the biggest mentors in this city he has completely changed the lives of many young men throughout the years kids who were heading on a deep dark path he showed them the light he showed the greatness gave them purpose and hope back to their lives he the only man for the job he goes to bat for these kids day in and day out Woonsocket is making a huge mistake taking him away from these kids
Charlie was a great coach for the Novans football team . I found him to be a great mentor who put a tremendous amount of time and effort into his coaching . He treated the kids as his own . He made sure my son made it to school and did well academically, which I’m not sure without football my son would of been as disciplined and sucessful as he is today without his guidance . I hope WHS can see the negative impact that this will have and I truely believe this is an unfair choice for the students .
That’s so sad!!! I played for the city growing up! We never had a good coach we had drunks with anger problems who came at us incredibly messed up!! At times even our parents stepped in to say something to our coaches at times..
To have a coach that cares and is there for the kids and actually takes the journey with them, you won’t find that for awhile! I hope they rescind their decision and allow him to come back, especially in this day an age, kids need someone like him not just for the field but for life too!! Not everyone has someone to count on in life so having that one person for a coach that you can run too makes all the difference to them!!! Most kids don’t have a positive hope or thought in life, and the light that really shows them someone is there for them is now gone hope it’s not a forever thing!
I’ve heard and seen nothing but amazing things about coach Bibeault. I mean look at the team of players he’s created. A team isn’t a team without their coach. And not just a coach but someone who continues to go above and beyond to support, teach, and encourage their players. I don’t know the details of this need to reinstate him, as I could never imagine him as not being the coach. He needs to be reunited with his team!
I have known Charlie for over a decade. The work he does with his hometown kids is outstanding. The youth in Woonsocket has been lucky to have a mentor they can relate to. It would be a shame for them to lose him!
Charlie’s dedication to the football program has been invaluable and a direct correlation to the recent successful seasons they have had. But his dedication to positively impacting these young men’s lives and showing it’s bigger than football make it unbelievable that I am signing this petition.
