Fishing is a topic that encompasses various issues related to marine conservation, animal welfare, and sustainable practices. Petitions within this topic often focus on banning inhumane fishing methods, protecting endangered species, and enforcing stricter regulations to prevent overfishing.
One petition gaining momentum calls for the prohibition of shark finning, highlighting the cruel practices involved in obtaining shark fins and the detrimental impact on marine ecosystems. Another petition advocates for the establishment of marine protected areas to safeguard critical habitats and preserve biodiversity.
By exploring the petitions on fishing, individuals can contribute to the protection of marine life and promote responsible fishing practices. Join the movement to advocate for sustainable fishing policies and help ensure the long-term health of our oceans.
I have lived in Palm Beach County for over 30 years. The intercoastal waterway should be enjoyed by all. Access to the ocean is limited to a few inlets in Palm Beach County. Without the West Palm club, how can we enjoy Peanut Island or access the inlet to enjoy the ocean? I enjoy fishing and boating in Palm Beach, but do not own my own boat. I do belong to a great boat club. I bring friends, relatives and neighbors to the downtown location you want to close. We often go out to lunch or dinner depending on the time of day and support our local economy. There should be a way to work together and come up with a viable solution that meets the needs of everyone.
My family have always wanted to go out on the ocean. I am disabled and my incomes low. But I wanted to give my wife and child their dream of a day at sea. We got to visit an island and fish with Jet aride. Their prices are awesome. Employees well trained and respectful. Places like this make it easy for people like me to be able to afford memories with my family. To lose them would be a loss for many people of the community. West palm should be ashamed of trying to do this.
Been a jetride member since 2019, with wpb as my primary dock location. I would rather have a member based, local friendly club at this dock than more 1-off tourist attractions, which is what I’m sure they’ll use the space for if they lose JetRide
It’s seems everywhere you look there’s a new residential building going up downtown, more and more people are moving to this city. It seems many city officials have forgotten one of the biggest selling points of living here in South East Florida. That’s the access to beautiful water, beaches and outdoor activities. We are fortunate enough to have JetRide navigate the first location in this growing city and now you want to take it away!
Please, not another Toll Brothers development. What they put up on the corner of Hemby and Providence reminds me of Levittown. They ARE NOT custom home builders, but cookie cutter builders that build boxes with no character. They have no concern at all to as to the character of Weddington. They strip mine for profit, leaving residents with our town changed forever. They clear cut and excavate with NO REGARD, only for profit. In another time we would call them carpetbaggers.
I'm not an LDS member, but I fully support this movement. The scope of animal cruelty in modern factory farms is unimaginable; it's an ethical disaster, and despite this, almost nobody knows about or cares about it.
Camping at Tompkins campground is a family tradition for us. We have so many memories here and are so disappointed about the closure. It is so convenient because it is close to home and our kids enjoy camping there so much!
This is our favorite local campground! When we got our first camper in 2016 this was the first place we went with it. We spend the majority of our camping season there, both my kids have learned how to ride without training wheels and fish and about the wildlife. We are devastated to hear about the closure and hope they will reconsider!
