This is one of my favorite roads of travel and sits to close to the Withlacoochee State Forest to be developed. There plenty of less rural areas that can be developed where that kind of growth belongs. This state is over crowed as it is and Brooksville does not need to become part of The Villages. We the tax payers moved here for the serenity and we the people are in charge. The elected officials work for us and need work for our concerns. Put this to a public vote and not a decision of elected people.
Thomas supported: Halt the Rezoning of Mondon Hill Rd to Preserve Rural Hernando County
Mondon Hill is not just any road but an escape from the hustle and bustle. You'll see tons of motor cycles enjoying thier country route, horses cows bee farms and donkey galore, there's no room for large RV's dump trucks etc on this road. Keep it for the residents and like minded, don't commercialize mondon hill.

One of the reasons Brooksville is so beautiful, and unique, is because of its rolling hills and countryside. Taking that away then it’s just another built up area that nobody wants to be around sucking more people into a concrete environment resulting in to depression and loss of escapism.

We bought our home in Hernando County for the rural county that it is. This decision should be decided by voters who LIVE here.

We moved here four years ago to grow our own food. Keeping this area rural allows us to do that. I am for planned growth that helps the people who are already living here, not actions that make our lives worse.

I believe that it will keep our loved ones from getting in trouble and keep the spark between us and our loved ones! It will give our loved one something to look forward to. Woman and men on the outside feel not only are our loved ones have the consequences of getting in trouble but us on the outside who are good standing citizens should not have to suffer the consequences ourselves. We are good influences on our loved one and it will keep the love alive and help with the intimacy that we need because if that's gone our loved ones don't have a chance of changing if us citizens keep leaving our loved ones from that chance of changing. Please just try it out see how different our loved ones would change if conjugal were accepted.
Melissa supported: Approve family visits/Conjugal visits for inmates in Colorado
I strongly believe this will not only help others but also keep loved ones closer to family.! Yes incarcerated people still have people that love them and miss them deeply!

As someone who's done a long stretch inside prison, I can say for sure that having some alone time with family or a spouse is an exceptionally wonderful thing. Many people who don't have this opportunity feel as if their community is slipping away from them, and visits are a huge way to bring people closer to their family.
Gwen supported: Approve family visits/Conjugal visits for inmates in Colorado
Our loved ones are already paying the price by being incarcerated but no one looks at what that does to the family who is doing that time with them on an emotional level, this will not only help with the moral of the inmate but help to rehabilitate them by reminding them of the love and support they have at home!
