As someone who is disabled and solely reliable on the federal government for income (SSDI), health insurance (Medicaid/Medicare), and housing (public housing) -- who Elon Musk recently referred to people reliant on the federal government for a safety net as parasites -- I am terrified of what's to come. I've spent a lot of energy recovering from mental health issues and addiction, this will undo all of that in an instant.
