We are not all wealthy pensioners. The majority of pensioners have their state pension and a small private pension that takes them over the threshold to claim pension credit. Most of these MPs and presenters are very well paid and seem to forget the majority of pensioners are struggling. Reinstate the Winter Fuel Payment for all pensioners. It is disgusting that MPs and economic migrants get free heating whilst pensioners get the cold shoulder. You are told to save for your old age and when you do the government punish you. I am not of state pension age yet because the government moved the goalposts. Why does the government appear to begrudge the pensioners a retirement.We have money for Net zero, wars, foreign aid but nothing for farmers and pensioners. This country is a disgrace.

It is time for this to stop and to at least reward those who save and plan with no tax on our pensions, If this does not happen then, why bother to save at all?

I have a small annuity that as from the last pension increase is now being taxed, after the next pension increase it will probably all go in tax! Unfortunately being an annuity I can't "cash it in" so the Government will benefit from me trying to safeguard my old age!

Not every older person has either access to the internet nor the help of a family member to help navigate it. My aunt when she was alive struggled with the Freeview channels and couldn’t comprehend how the internet/mobile phones worked .
