As someone who deeply cares about modernizing education in our digital age, I strongly support this petition to update Clinton High School's technology policies and email domain system. Having seen similar issues in schools across the country, I believe addressing these technology restrictions is crucial for student success in today's world. Students everywhere need access to relevant educational resources and tools to stay competitive and prepare for their futures. Overly restrictive technology policies can hinder research capabilities and limit access to valuable learning materials that are essential for modern education. When schools block too many legitimate educational websites and applications, it creates unnecessary barriers to learning and collaboration. The email domain issue is particularly concerning, as it can prevent students from fully participating in educational opportunities. Many academic platforms and programs require school email verification, and outdated or non-standard email domains can create unnecessary complications for students trying to access these resources. While online safety is important, many schools have successfully found ways to protect students while providing appropriate access to digital resources. A balanced approach to technology access has become standard practice in modern education. I encourage Clinton High School's administration to consider: 1. Updating the website filtering system to better align with current educational needs 2. Modernizing the school email domain 3. Implementing technology policies that protect students while supporting their educational goals Thank you for considering these important changes that could significantly improve the educational experience for Clinton High School students.

I have a daughter I had to take out of public school. She was experiencing being bullied since middle school until it really escalated her freshman year of H.S. after a girl put a knife to her neck saying she was going to slice her and beat her up. I went to the principal and made multiple calls. He said he had investigated it 3 times and found nothing. So I pulled her out to homeschool her. Which I don't feel like I should have to do. She should have been able to go to school to learn without fear and engage in making friendships with others. Not be isolated from her peers. This bullying needs to be taken seriously. These bullies are going to grow up and do worse things in this already chaotic world. School boards, principals, and teachers need to be on the front line fighting for our children. Not being passive and sweeping it under the rug. FIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE NOT.

ACTS was such an awesome program with so many great kids and teachers. Removing this program would remove the students' spark, removing their talents, and not allowing them to express themselves in their respective focus. I was fortunate to be accepted, and removing this program would remove the opportunity for kids to shine.

ACTS helped me to grow as a person and find my interest. I don’t know who I would be if I didn’t go through ACTS. ACTS is an amazing opportunity for kids.

I have always loved theatre and even tho I’m not in these programs I know other kids love to do this stuff just as much as I do and it hurts them that all of this is closing down.
