The people that are impacted the most with abolishing the magnet programs are the children that dream of having jobs in the field of arts, science, math, engineering, and medicine. If a child dreams of being a doctor, engineer, performer, or a child has a goal of higher education, these programs prepare students by going in depth with life skills, even if they decide to not plan on higher education. These programs also teach valuable life skills such as critical thinking, kindness, and working with peers. The small classes help students pay more attention and we can get more done with the teachers on our one on one learning.

These programs also have an application process so the students in these programs are held to higher standards. Students in these programs are required to keep their grades above a 70, stay out of trouble with their peers, and focus on their interests on a more in-depth level than not having focuses on their specialized classes of interests.The reason we must act now is because our program is getting abolished.

This petition is ran by students who have now started a campaign group to save all their magnet programs which includes ACTS, GT, MONTESSORI, STEMS, MEDICA MAGNET, AND FINE ARTS
